Rebuilding a community after a natural disaster requires thousands of volunteers and donations. Our specialized Construction Donation Management system was designed specifically to assist long term recorvery groups to recruit and manage donors who provide construction materials. Like our other systems it is fully web interactive, allowing you to post needs for supplies and have donors (both corporate and private) register to help with them on-line.
Needs and donated items are both divided into types and descriptions using categories provided by disaster relief agencies. Contractors and other donors will recognize these commonly used categories such as "Roofing Supplies" and then select which items they are willing to contribute. The lists they choose from include all commonly required construction supplies (see list). This list is 100% customizable by each of our clients. There is also an "open text" field for other supplies to be listed.
When constructions projects are entered into the web-based database you can list all the supplies needed to complete it. The project, with all required supplies, is automatically transferred to your web site. Local construction companies, suppliers and other groups can search by multiple criteria to find which projects match their capacity. These categories include project location and supply requirements. Once a project has been identified the donor can review all required logistics information including where and when the donation should be dropped off. They can also sign to assist in transportation and other logistics. If the potential donor is already registered in one of our systems as a volunteer or as a traditional donor they will NOT need to re-submit their contact information.
